HowTo make the network icons display when the machine is connected to a network. It also allows network balloons to appear when necessary.

The network notification icon is the one that looks like 2 computers, is the network icon.

1. Click, Start and then Control Panel.
2. Inside of the Control Panel find Network Connections and double click it.

3. Double click Local Area Connection

The Local Area Connection Status window will appear.

4. Click the Properties button.

5. Click the General tab and check the boxe(s) at the bottom to show the icon.

Click OK/Close until all the windows disappear.
